Seven Collective Salon is all about amazing hair services that suit just about any need. From a quick blowout to getting dolled up with a formal style, they’ve got you covered.
Their haircuts are super versatile too, ranging from sharp clipper cuts to long, flowing styles, and even special curly cuts by their curl experts. If you love coloring, they offer everything from touch-ups to full-head foils and mega coloring.
What we find impressive about the salon is their expertise in extensions. They offer hand-tied, K-tip, tape-ins, and clip-ins, but new clients need to book a consultation first—definitely a plus for personalized care.
Plus, they offer Olaplex and deep conditioning add-ons for that extra touch of luxury.
Just keep in mind that their prices start at a baseline and can go up depending on your stylist’s experience and what exactly you need done. That initial consultation is a good idea to get an accurate quote.
Comfortable and friendly vibe
This place has a really great vibe. I’m super shy and awkward and so I kinda loathe going to hair salons but I felt really comfortable here. The stylists are friendly and easy going. I was asking for a big change and I really appreciated how Madelyn was upfront about the cost and allowed me to forgo certain things in order to keep things within my budget, all without judgement. She did a beautiful job with what she was working with and I really love my hair and think it is better than what I asked for. The soft dimension and cool tones are beautiful and I really appreciated all the work she put in with those foils. Amazing color correction
I went to see Erin for the first time at Bowtique (now Seven Collective) about two and a half years ago. My hair was beyond damaged, and so many different colors you couldn’t even count. She spent about 4+ hours color correcting my hair, and it turned out amazing – big chop and on my way back to blonde! I have been going to see her ever since, and now my hair is the healthiest and longest its ever been! Beyond grateful that I stumbled across Erin and Bowtique two and a half years ago when I moved back to Halifax!!

Exceptional haircuts
If I could rate Miss Bea a full fledge 10 stars then some, I absolutely would. I had the fine pleasure of meeting Bea and have her work on my hair for the first time today. She was simply amazing to the way she explained the haircut, and what she was doing, and the effect it would have on my hair. Great conversation, she loves her job, and it shows. Her expertise are to be reckoned with. This is a lady who knows how to do hair properly. She gave me a beautiful head of layers and made my waves and natural texture pop. She understood the assignment and more than delivered! I will never go anywhere else for another haircut again, and to say the least, I will be devastated when the day comes you do decide to put your scissors down, Bea! You have a true gift. Wonderful service
Bea is an absolute pleasure! Easy to chat with, extremely reasonable prices, and most importantly – excellent at cutting hair! My partner and I have been more than satisfied with her work every time I’ve sat in her chair. Two things to note though, you need to park next door at the Needs convenience, and Bea only accepts cash or e-transfers. Overall wonderful service, and I highly recommend her!

If you’re into coloring, they’ve got you covered with tons of options. You can get anything from root touch-ups to full head highlights, cuts, balayage, and even fun fashion colors like blue, pink, or silver.
Their attention to detail is fantastic, especially with highlights and color treatments. One customer mentioned to us that she got a toner added for just $25 and a cut for $150. And if you prefer something less intense, they also offer partial highlights.
One thing to consider is that they might focus more on traditional services. So if you’re looking for super high-end treatments or the latest ultra-modern hairstyles, it might be a good idea to check if they offer those specialized services.
Perfect color blending
Andrew is such talented hair dresser!! He was excellent and communicated every step to me and answered all of my questions I had during the process. He wonderfully matched the colour of a photo I showed him. The way he was able to blend my black roots to a gorgeous beige blonde was amazing and my hair actually felt healthier after my visit.

Attentive and skilled stylist
I have now had two haircuts with Mike and have been thrilled with both! He took the time to understand what I wanted in a hairstyle, and I felt like we were totally on the same page without even needing to show pictures. He has also gently swayed me away from less than stellar ideas (you mean, blond highlights in my rich, reddish brown hair will always go brassy?) and seems to genuinely love what he does. Transformative experience
Found this place after 4 months of suffering through the aftermath of a horrible highlight job that left my hair orange and yellow, totally fried and have had little choice but to keep chopping short to remove the colour and dead hair. Have spent 4 months – and a FORTUNE- trying to look good and like myself again, including a pixie short haircut that made me feel youthful. Landed in the lap of Veronica today. She asks great questions, comes to the table with different pictures to ask what you like/don’t like about each, makes you feel heard and comfortable. Fantastic haircuts and color
When I first moved to Halifax I went and saw Veronica at Dime salon and she is now forever my girl. She gives great haircuts and her hair colouring is fantastic!! Not only is she great to talk to you but she really takes the time to sit down and talk to you about exactly what your hair goals are (be it hair health, cut, or colour) so that you walk out feeling like a million bucks. Beaute Lia Hair Salon is a great place if you want your hair to look amazing in a comfy setting. They do it all—women’s haircuts with a blow-dry, men’s haircuts, and they even take care of the little ones with boys’ and girls’ cuts for those under 12.
Their color services are pretty comprehensive. They include a full-color change and root touch-up. If highlights are your thing, you can choose from full-foil highlights or half-foil highlights.
One standout feature is their variety of perms, including trendy ones like the Volume C Curl Perm, Treatment Straight Perm, and Korean Heating Perm, which we find impressive.
If your hair needs some TLC, you can go for the Mucota Treatment to bring it back to life.
However, keep in mind that their prices are on the higher side compared to some other local salons. This might be a consideration if you’re on a tight budget.
